


"Fay & Tom" is a Dutch children's television series that debuted in 2014, aimed at young viewers between the ages of 2 and 8. The show follows the adventures of two cheerful little farmers—Fay, a farmer’s girl, and Tom, a farmer’s boy—who live on a farm with their animal friends, including Sebastiaan the pig, Rosa the cow, Pim the dog and the sheep Mike & Molly. Each of the 64 available episodes blends humor, music, and storytelling to teach children about farm life, nature, and food production in a playful and engaging way. Fay and Tom play hide-and-seek with the animals and Mister Bear. While searching for Mister Bear, Tom notices the potatoes are “hiding” too. Fay thinks that’s funny. Can they find the potatoes?

Melting Ice Lollies - Chinese spoken
It’s a hot day and Tom yearns for a nice refreshing ice lolly. Fay asks him to bring cool water to the animals, so Tom puts his ice lolly aside in the hot sun. When he is done watering the animals, his ice lolly is miraculously gone. Stolen? Or maybe just molten…

Scarecrow – Chinese spoken
Fay and Tom fancy some juicy cherries, but so does a little birdie. Fay suggest to make a scarecrow and gets to work. Meanwhile, Tom comes up with his own plan for chasing the birds away.

The Talking Snowman – Dutch spoken
It’s snowing. Fay and Tom go crazy in the freshly fallen snow. A snowball fight and a snowman. When the snowman is ready, Tom plays a prank on Fay, making her believe that their creation can talk.

Tulips – Dutch spoken
Fay and Tom are planting flower bulbs to have a garden full of tulips by spring. Tom is impatient with progress and decides to assist the flower bulbs’ growth with some healthy food, like sandwiches and apples. Fay is a bit sceptical about the added nutritional value.
